Pastor Dianne Bates “Loves the Lord her God with all her heart and with all her soul and with all her strength and with all her mind, “according to Luke 10:27. Not only does she love the Lord, but she love people, especially those that suffer with addiction and those who are unbelievers. She displays the Anointing and the Favor of God in her life by placing principals before personality.

Evangelist Dianne Bates has been married to her husband Minister Jack Bates for 26 years. They have 2 sons, David Louis Mitchell (33) and Roderick Lamont Beach (28), they adopted their niece Ciera Nicole Holman (28), and she has 8 grandchildren. She has 2 sisters and 2 brothers, along with 3 half -brothers, and 6 half - sisters.

Evangelist Bates is a former member of the Mt. Calvary M.B. Church 2448 Herman Street (Pastor Percy J. Clark), while attending Mt. Calvary Evangelist Bates was a faithful member. She faithfully attended the New Membership Class, Teacher’s Training Class, and Deaconess Training Class. She was ordained as a Deaconess on April 30, 2005. She served as Choir Director for the Mass Choir, where she sang songs such as “I made it Over”, and “Show some Sign,” she served as Secretary for the Women’s Ministry, Adult Sunday School Teacher’s Asst., and she served on the Van Ministry.

Evangelist Bates was the Visionary, Founder and Coordinator of the “Angels of Calvary” Dance Ministry,

During her tenure at Mt. Calvary (Herman Street), in around 1986, Evangelist Bates began a bout with drug addiction. Her drug of choice was crack cocaine. After 12 years of addiction to drugs, prostitution and a run in with the law, while incarcerated on February 19, 1998, in the Rutherford County Detention Center, Evangelist Bates had a talk with the Holy Spirit, He asked her “Do you want to live and be made whole?” After saying “YES”, Evangelist Bates was furloughed from the Rutherford Cty. Detention Center and went into Drug Rehabilitation at the Samaritan Recovery Community where she graduated on Aug. 2, 1998, and to this day she has not relapsed.

In January 2005, Evangelist Bates and her husband moved their membership to Mt. Calvary M.B. Church (Madison, TN), Pastor Sandy McClain.

While attending Mt. Calvary, Madison, once again she became a faithful member and immediately began to serve the Lord there as Teacher for the Teen’s class in Sunday school, she served on the Van Ministry, Kitchen Facilitator, and Teacher for VBS. After much prayer Evangelist Bates answered her call from God in March 2008, to preach the uncompromising Word of God to the least, the lost, and the left out.  After much prayer and study, under the tutelage of Pastor Sandy McClain, Evangelist Bates preached her first sermon “Going Home a Different Way” Luke 15: 11-17, on December 14, 2008, and at that time she received her Minister’s LicenseEvangelist Bates is also the Visionary, and CEO for“New Life” Outreach Ministry.

Vision Statement: To teach Women through the Word of God to become whole and complete in Jesus, to make disciple according to Matthew 28:18-20.

Mission Statement: Our Mission is to provide a Godly atmosphere for women, we will minister to the needs of the whole person, while developing their Spiritual Gifts, and Abilities, which will enable them to have a lasting relationship with Jesus Christ. Women in fellowship with one another to Encourage, Strengthen, Enlighten, Teach and Empower each other through the Word of God.

Evangelist Bates gives back to the community as she shares her experience, strengths, and hope by preaching to and encouraging the women at the Davidson County Detention Center (CCA), formerly at The Nashville Women’s Rescue Mission, Samaritan Recovery Community, and Step by Step Recovery Ministry for the St. Luke P.B. Church.

After much fasting and praying, and after consulting with the Holy Spirit, Evangelist Dianne Bates was given the right hand of fellowship at New Life thru Christ Ministries on Saturday, February 2, 2014, under the leadership of Bishop Minnie Mitchell. Immediately Bishop Mitchell appointed Evangelist Bates to work with Sister Mara Mitchell and the Youth Ministry where she teaches Bible Enrichment classes and Assistant Teacher for Youth on Friday. On Sunday, January 11, 2015, Evangelist Dianne Bates was Ordained and License as Elder of “New Life” Outreach Ministry, by Bishop Minnie L. Mitchell. Elder Bates returned back to her home church on June 21, 2015, under the leadership of Pastor Percy J. Clark where she serves as Advisor of the Pastor’s Aide Ministry, Youth Advisor, and she teaches New Membership Orientation class under the Leadership of Minister Jeannie Lipscomb. Elder Bates attended ABC during the Fall of 2015.
